Carob Smoothie for weight loss

If you have not tried the carob, you should start to consider it. The powder obtained from this nut, may well serve to replace the chocolate, but with far fewer calories and fat. Ingredients:

  • A spoonful of carob
  • A cup of soy milk (or other plant milk)
  • A pear
  • Half cup of berries (blueberries, raspberries, etc..)
  • Stevia or sweetener to taste.

Preparation:
Place the carob, pear chunks (with skin, without the seeds), red berries and soy milk in the bowl of the mixer. Finely crush until all elements are fully integrated with each other. Finally, if you want, you have to sweeten with stevia.

Well, you’ll have ready a smoothie which is great for losing weight since breakfast. Carob will provide fiber and energy, the pear is satiating and diuretic, the berries will be full of nutrients and milk will give you almost no fat, more if calcium and other nutrients.
