My plate suggests that you take as a reference plate. Which you divide into 4 parts:

  • Grain or whole grains (30% of the size of the dish)
  • Plants, 30% the size of dish
  • Fruits, 20% of the dish
  • Protein, 20% of the plate.

At this rate we must add a glass of milk or nonfat or light yogurt. As well as reducing the consumption of salt and sugar (which you can replace with stevia or sucralose).

Even Harvard University suggested slightly modifies this guide, adding the consumption of healthy oils like canola or olive oil. On the other hand, suggests the consumption of water, teas and natural fruit juices, free of added sugar.
